Project Engineer who will be responsible for managing quantity surveying for major and extension projects shall undertake the following actions based on the project contract documents, approved documents on material submittals & method statements:
- Monitor all the cost and contractual aspect and report to the Client
- Provide the required technical support, assistance and advice on all aspects of quantity surveying activities covering measurement, certification and payments
- Collect and check quantity measurements from the project site and Prepare the Quantity Survey Reports
- Prepare of monthly Contractor’s Interim Payment Certificate and preparation of Final Account
- Assist in the interpretation of the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents, and analysis of any claims which may be submitted by the contractor.
- Review claims submitted by the contractor
- Ensure that full documentation and records are maintained in the Client’s office facility to properly substantiate all Interim and Final Payments to the contractor to a standard acceptable to the Client.
- Ensure materials utilised at project site confirming to approved make and prepare report in case on non-conformance
- Co-ordination with project managers
Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
- Professional engineering license preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and standards.
- Proven experience in project management and team leadership.
