Part-Time Surveyor (Muscat, Oman)
As a part-time surveyor in Muscat, Oman, you will be responsible for conducting surveys and gathering data on various construction projects. Your primary role will be to measure and map out the land, structures, and other elements of a site using specialized equipment and tools. You will work with a team of engineers and architects to ensure accurate measurements and collect data that will be used for planning, design, and construction purposes.
Key Responsibilities:- Conducting surveys on construction sites to measure and map out land, structures, and other elements
- Using specialized equipment such as GPS receivers, total stations, and digital levels to collect accurate data
- Creating detailed reports and drawings based on survey data
- Collaborating with engineers and architects to ensure accurate measurements for project planning and design
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations while conducting surveys
- Maintaining survey equipment in good working condition
- Proven experience as a surveyor or related role
- Proficiency in using surveying equipment such as GPS receivers, total stations, and digital levels
- Knowledge of relevant software such as AutoCAD or GIS
- Strong mathematical skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus)
- Valid driver's license
This is a part-time position with flexible working hours. You may be required to work on weekends or evenings depending on project deadlines.
Salary:The salary for this position is 1100$ per month.
