Overview

National Aluminum Products Co. SAOG based in Muscat, is one of the fastest growing and leading aluminium extrusion companies in the Middle East with an annual production capacity in excess of 36,000 MT. We urgently require a candidate for the following position.

Chief Accountant

Employment:
Full Time

• Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and applicable laws
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, maintaining the integrity of the general ledger and financial records
• Manage core accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, fixed assets, and general ledger activities
• Lead internal and external audits; liaise with auditors and tax authorities to ensure full compliance with tax regulations
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes, cash flow management, providing financial insights to guide strategic planning
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, ensuring task distribution, performance monitoring, and professional development
• Establish, enforce, and continuously improve financial policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Maintain compliance with accounting standards and regulations and company policies
• Review journal entries, accruals, and adjustments for completeness and accuracy
• Provide financial insights and analysis

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
• ACCA, CMA, ACA or equivalent certification preferred
• 3–5 years of experience as Chief Accountant
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Quick Books) and Excel
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Leadership and team management
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently
• Arabic / English speaking, writing, and reading
