Accountant, Financial Reporting, Accounting & Finance

A leading automotive organization in Muscat, Oman is currently seeking an experienced Accountant to join their finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.

• Maintain accurate financial records and perform reconciliations for accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, identifying discrepancies and proposing corrective actions as needed.
• Collaborate with the Finance Manager to develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
• Process financial transactions such as invoicing, billing, and payments accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and reporting requirements.
• Utilize integrated accounting software systems effectively to streamline financial processes.
• Manage databases proficiently to store and retrieve financial data accurately.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organization, providing financial insights and support as required.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting & finance.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting role.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet Explorer.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
