Role Description

This is a full-time role based in Muscat, with hybrid flexibility. The Senior Sales Lead:
Sovereign & Institutional Clients will drive revenue growth by managing the end-to-end sales cycle for AFAQ Value with sovereign wealth funds, large private equity firms, and trillion-dollar financial institutions in Oman and the GCC.

Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain C-level relationships with sovereign wealth funds and major institutional investors.
  • Lead pre-sales: discovery, tailored demos, and proposal development focused on private asset valuation challenges.
  • Manage post-sales: onboarding, client success, feedback collection, and upsell opportunities.
  • Collaborate with technology partners for co-selling and integrated solutions.
  • Execute targeted GTM strategies, including industry events and committee presentations.
  • Achieve revenue targets with emphasis on trust, confidentiality, and governance.
Qualifications

Required

  • 8+ years in enterprise sales/business development in financial services, with proven deals closed at sovereign wealth funds or large institutional investors.
  • Track record selling complex technology/AI/SaaS solutions to financial institutions.
  • Strong existing network in Oman/GCC sovereign wealth and private equity ecosystems.
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills for committee-level engagements.
  • Bachelor’s in Finance, Business, or related field;

Preferred

  • Direct experience in a sovereign wealth fund, private equity firm, or valuation advisory.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (Google Cloud/Azure) and enterprise security/compliance.
  • MBA/CFA/CAIA.
  • Arabic proficiency highly advantageous.
  • Deep expertise in private markets (private equity/venture capital valuation, fair value reporting, regulations like IFRS 13/ASC 820).
