Overview
Our client is a PE fund that specialized in renewables and is currently seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join their team as an Associate in the Energy Transition team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain valuable experience and insight into the world of decarbonization and energy transition investment.
Responsibilities- Analyze and evaluate potential investment opportunities through building complex financial models and thorough due diligence
- Lead the preparation of investment opportunities for the consideration of the investment committee
- Lead sector analysis and drive proactive deal sourcing
- Contribute to value adding to portfolio companies
- Collaborate with the team on various projects and tasks related to portfolio companies
- 3-5 year(s) of investing experience in technology companies
- Strong interest in understanding cutting edge complex technologies
- Strong financial modelling (high proficiency in MS Excel) skills
- Prior experience in hydrogen and other decarbonization technologies is preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Team player with good communication skills and leadership potential
- Analytical, innovative, motivated and adaptable
- Proficient in English, Chinese speaking is mandatory.
- Candidate with less experience will be considered as Analyst
