We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Manager with a strong background in construction finance to oversee the company’s financial operations, reporting, budgeting, and compliance.
The ideal candidate will manage accounting functions, monitor project costs, ensure regulatory compliance in Oman, and provide strategic financial guidance to support business growth.
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Muscat, Oman. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Oman or other GCC countries.
- Oversee daily accounting operations including AP, AR, general ledger, payroll, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Manage project accounting, cost control, and budget monitoring
- Supervise invoicing, payment collections, and supplier payments
- Ensure compliance with Oman tax regulations (VAT) and financial laws
- Coordinate with auditors for internal and external audits
- Prepare cash flow forecasts and financial reports for management
- Monitor project profitability and cost analysis
- Implement and maintain financial policies and internal controls
- Manage relationships with banks, financial institutions, and stakeholders
- Lead and supervise the accounts team
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent) is an advantage
- Minimum 4–6 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a construction company
- Strong knowledge of project accounting and cost control
- Experience with Oman VAT regulations and financial compliance
- Proficiency in accounting softwares.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
- Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Experience in Oman or GCC countries preferred
- Ability to work under pressure and meet reporting deadlines
