Responsibilities:
Receive transactions from the Investigation Department in the Directorate of Work Injuries and Occupational Diseases.
Review medical leave documents provided by the insured and ensure they arerelated to a work injury.
Follow up with the insured to submit medical leave documents and otherrequired paperwork.
Approve medical leaves related to work injuries and forward them to thedirect supervisor.
Communicate with healthcare providers in cases where additional medical reports or follow-ups are needed.
Coordinate with the Medical Committees Affairs Section for cases that exceed the allowed number of leave days.
Participate in drafting the department’s procedures manual.
Communicate with other departments within the General Directorate of Work Injuries, Occupational Diseases, and Medical Affairs.
Respond to inquiries and requests related to medical leave.
Contribute to the development of workflows and the electronic system in coordination with specialists in the Directorate of Digital Solutions and Information Systems.
Perform any tasks assigned by the direct supervisor.
RequirementsQ
ualifications and
Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in medical sciences, Health Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Law, or equivalent related fields relevant to the job.
A professional certificate related to the job is considered an additionaladvantage.
Competencies and
Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in using computers and relevant applications.
Skills in preparing and analyzing reports and drafting correspondences andmemoranda.
Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and systems.
Fluency in Arabic and English languages.
