Position Details

• Role: Specialist Orthopedic
• Setting: Outpatient Clinic
• Location: Muscat, Oman
• Salary:
  OMR 1,800 – 2,000 per month (tax-free potential, depending on candidate profile)

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat a wide range of orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions.
• Manage acute fractures, sports injuries, arthritis, back pain, and joint disorders.
• Perform minor outpatient procedures (joint injections, aspirations, casting, and splinting).
• Interpret diagnostic imaging including X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans.
• Maintain comprehensive medical records and adhere to international standards of care.
• Refer patients requiring advanced surgical interventions to appropriate specialist centers.

Candidate Requirements

• Education: MBBS + MS / DNB in Orthopedics (or recognized equivalent).
• Licensure: Eligible for Oman Ministry of Health (MOH) Specialist licensure.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of post-specialization clinical experience

• Strong diagnostic acumen and exceptional, patient-centered communication skills.
