Mandatory Requirements:
- Dataflow verification for Qualification, License, and Experience must be completed.
- No Prometric examination is required.
- Candidates must attend and pass the MOH Viva examination.
- Immediate joiners will be given preference.
- To provide safe, basic nursing care and assistance to residents with physical, cognitive, and functional disabilities under the supervision and direction of a registered nurse.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting and feeding.
- Assist nurses in providing care to residents with physical and cognitive disabilities.
- Measure and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, respiration and blood pressure, as trained and authorized.
- Assist with positioning, turning, mobilization and transfer of residents.
- Assist with bed making and maintaining a hygienic patient environment.
- Provide support for residents requiring wheelchair, walker or other mobility assistance.
- Assist with meals, hydration and feeding as directed.
- Assist in the care of residents with urinary catheters, tracheostomy, PEG tubes and other medical devices under nursing supervision, within approved scope of practice.
- Observe residents for changes in physical or mental condition and promptly report abnormalities to the Staff Nurse.
- Assist with pressure injury prevention, including regular repositioning and skin observation.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided.
- Assist nurses during emergency situations and follow emergency protocols.
- Maintain infection prevention and control practices, including hand hygiene and appropriate PPE.
- Ensure residents' comfort, dignity, privacy and safety at all times.
- Support rehabilitation activities as instructed by nurses and therapists.
- Assist in maintaining a safe and clean patient-care environment.
- Follow institutional policies, procedures and resident safeguarding requirements.
