Job Purpose

To ensure the accurate, timely, and compliant processing of employee payroll by supporting end-to-end payroll operations. The role is responsible for maintaining payroll records, adhering to local labor and statutory requirements, and supporting the HR team in delivering reliable payroll services that contribute to employee satisfaction and organizational compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • End-to-End Payroll Processing:
    Manage the complete payroll cycle for a multi-level workforce, ensuring accurate calculation of wages, overtime, allowances, and end-of-service benefits (EOSB).
  • Data Management & Validation:
    Collect, verify, and input payroll data, including new hires, resignations, leaves (sick, annual, unpaid), salary adjustments, and deductions.
  • Compliance & Reporting:
    Ensure strict adherence to Oman's statutory regulations, including Social Insurance contributions, and prepare all related reports. Assist in internal and external audits.
  • Employee Queries:
    Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and leave balances, providing clear and timely resolutions.
  • Record Keeping:
    Maintain and update accurate and confidential electronic and physical payroll records for all employees.
  • HRMS Proficiency:
    Utilize the company's HRMS and payroll software efficiently to process data and generate reports.
  • Collaboration:

    Work closely with the HR and Finance teams to ensure seamless data flow and process integrity.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or Business Administration (BBA).
  • 3 to 4 years of proven experience in a dedicated payroll role.
  • In-depth knowledge of payroll principles, taxations, and final settlement calculations.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
