Overview

Our client, a leading international FMCG company is seeking an experienced HR Manager to join one of its well established distributors based in Oman. Your objective will be to set up and effectively run the HR function by providing focused advice and support to the team to support the Market Manager with the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of HR projects, people policies and procedures, in line with the changing needs of the business.

Responsibilities
  • Develop systems and processes to aid recruitment, staffing, retention and development of the sales teams
  • Align an overall compensation benchmark across all levels of the team to attract, retain and grow required talent
  • Identify talent pool mix to include local as well as expatriate team members
  • Design a performance management system & foster a pay for performance culture
  • Lead organization capability development with tools for training and development

Salary is dependent on experience however will be circa 20, including benefits.

Qualifications
  • Omani Nationals preferred or at least long term residents in Oman
  • University degree in Business administration or Human Resources
  • 3-6 years of generalist experience with experience setting up and developing the key HR functions within a large organisation
  • Ideally you will have participated in HR Leadership Development Program OR have prior HR business partner experience within a large global organization
  • You must be a team player & demonstrate leadership and possess a strong analytical skills.
  • You must have the ability to build strong customer relationships and have an aptitude for innovation.
  • Finally you must be a proven self-starter with strong initiative, enthusiasm for business, and results orientation as you will be building a basic HR function into a well organised best practice strategic function.
