Overview
IT Laptop Technician Chip-Level
We are looking for a determined and highly technical computer professional to take care of, check, and fix computer systems in a computer store, ensuring systems are set up properly and running successfully. Tasks include installing software patches, diagnosing, and repairing problems. Language requirements:
English, Arabic.
- Assessing computer issues, remedying them, servicing and replacing parts when needed.
- Installing software programs, demonstrating their use and troubleshooting when users encounter problems.
- Chip-level fixing experience for all types of Mac Book and laptops.
- Chip-level fixing of laptops and desktop computers.
- Checking computer and laptop hardware (HDD, RAM, camera, mouse, keyboard, etc.) to ensure functionality.
- Capable of removing glare and pressure marks from LED/LCD displays.
- Assemble hardware and install/configure software and drivers.
- Know how to use voltages to diagnose issues.
- Hands-on experience in soldering PCBs (printed circuit boards).
- Hands-on experience in component-level replacement after diagnosing the issue.
- Asset maintenance and administration.
- Write comprehensive functional specifications that document equipment development procedures and support equipment introduction.
- 3+ years experience in Laptop Motherboards (Windows & Mac Book).
- Job Types: Permanent, Irreversible, Agreement.
- Salary: RO170.000 - RO250.000 monthly.
- Location:
Muscat. Accurate commute or relocation to Muscat prior to starting job (Required).
