Role Purpose
Lead the development and implementation of strategies, initiatives and programs for emerging services such as OTT services, AR/VR, AI, Smart-home, Fintech, and Insure-Tech to ensure the organization stays at the forefront of the latest trends and technologies and is able to realise new revenue streams from non telco services.

- Bachelor in relevant discipline
- Internal Applicants: 8 years of relevant experience with at least 5 years in a management position
- External Applicants: 10 years of relevant experience with at least 5 years in a management position
- Provide strategic leadership for Omantel’s digital and growth agenda, ensuring alignment between core telecom priorities and non-core digital expansion
- Shape and scale Omantel’s non-core digital portfolio, including OTT, AI, Fintech, Insure-Tech, and EdTech, leveraging telecom assets while enabling independent growth.
- Lead the development and execution of digital and growth strategies that support Omantel’s diversification and long-term business objectives.
- Develop, maintain, and govern departmental policies, processes, and procedures to ensure consistency, scalability, and operational excellence.
- Contribute to departmental budget planning and allocation, ensuring efficient resource utilization and alignment with strategic priorities.
- Define departmental objectives and establish SMART KPIs to drive performance, accountability, and measurable outcomes.
- Oversee SLA definition and management with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment, synergy, and timely service delivery.
- Build and manage an integrated roadmap for digital and emerging services aligned with customer needs, market dynamics, and organizational goals.
- Continuously monitor market trends, customer insights, and technology evolution to identify and prioritize growth opportunities.
- Lead the ideation, development, and commercialization of new digital products and services as part of the roadmap, ensuring sustainable business value.
- Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle from concept and MVP validation to launch, scaling, and continuous optimization.
- Establish and manage strategic partnerships and ecosystem relationships to accelerate innovation and long-term value creation.
- Drive the adoption of emerging technologies across the organization in line with business priorities and readiness.
- Measure and evaluate the performance and effectiveness of digital services using KPIs, data insights, and management reporting.
- Ensure compliance with internal governance standards, corporate policies, and data protection requirements across all initiatives.
