OCI Databas Engineer

Overview

We are partnering with a technology-driven organization that delivers secure, scalable, and high-performance digital platforms. The company operates enterprise-grade systems and places a strong emphasis on data reliability, security, and cloud transformation.

• Design, deploy, and operate Oracle database services in OCI (Autonomous DB, Exadata Cloud, DB Systems).
• Plan and execute database migrations from on-prem environments to OCI.
• Perform performance tuning, capacity planning, and optimization (SQL, I/O, storage).
• Implement and manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Apply database security best practices, including access control, encryption, and auditing.
• Automate database provisioning and configuration using Terraform and scripting tools.
• Monitor database health and proactively resolve performance or availability issues.
• Manage patching, upgrades, and database lifecycle activities.
• Support development teams with schema design, indexing, and optimization.
• Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures.

• English communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 4+ years’ experience as an Oracle DBA or Database Engineer.
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle database administration (RMAN, Data Guard, Data Pump, SQL/PL-SQL tuning).
• Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or other cloud platforms.
• Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
