The Project Senior Specialist plays a key role within the Project Management Office (PMO) by supporting the effective delivery of complex projects and programs. The role is responsible for ensuring alignment between project deliverables and business objectives, enabling cross-functional collaboration, and driving process efficiency within a fast-paced environment. The Project Senior Specialist provides governance, reporting, and guidance to support successful project outcomes and ensure alignment with portfolio and program strategies.

• Plan, manage, and execute assigned projects in accordance with approved scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between project teams, senior management, and key stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
• Ensure compliance with standardized project management tools, methodologies, and frameworks, including waterfall, agile, and hybrid approaches, as appropriate to project needs.
• Lead the development and maintenance of governance artifacts, including project charters, risk and issue registers, and project status dashboards.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration, ensuring effective communication and coordination across departments and stakeholders.
• Analyze and report project KPIs, proactively identifying risks and opportunities and recommending corrective actions to senior management.
• Monitor project progress against approved plans, milestones, and timelines to ensure timely and successful delivery

• Core competencies, knowledge and experience
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, preferably within the telecommunications industry.
• Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
• Strong ability to perform effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Solid understanding of project management methodologies, including waterfall, agile, and hybrid approaches.
• Demonstrated leadership and stakeholder engagement capabilities, with the ability to manage relationships across all organizational levels.
• Proficiency in industry-standard project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet).

• Approved project plans established, regularly updated, communicated, and accessible to all relevant stakeholders.
• Project governance structures implemented and adhered to throughout the project lifecycle.
• Action and decision trackers maintained and kept up to date.
• Project milestones delivered in line with approved timelines.
• Accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of project reporting, including risk, issue, and performance dashboards, as reflected in stakeholder satisfaction feedback

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.

  Proficiency in industry-standard project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet).

  Preferably holds relevant certifications such as PMI-PMP, PMI-ACP, or Certified Scrum Master (CSM).
