AMAN Consultancy & Technology is seeking a GIS Expert / GIS Developer to support and expand our geospatial initiatives across Oman.
This is a client-facing role suited for a professional who combines strong GIS fundamentals with modern geospatial expertise, including vector tiles, digital twins, and Spatial Data Infrastructure (SDI).To work closely with clients to translate requirements into scalable geospatial solutions, design system architectures, and deliver high-impact GIS outputs that support real-world decision-making.
Strong understanding of GIS concepts and spatial analysis
Proficiency in QGIS or ArcGIS
Familiarity with Postgre
SQL and PostGIS
Analyze and process geospatial data (raster and vector)
Develop and implement GIS services
Design and optimize spatial databases
Work with geospatial APIs and develop new features
Collaborate with front-end and back-end teams
