5–6 years in managing e-commerce websites, booking engines, and digital operations, preferably in automotive, travel, or service-based industries.
VIGO Rent a Car is looking for a proactive and results-driven Marketing & Partnerships professional to manage brand marketing, social media planning, website management, agency coordination, and strategic partnerships.
The role requires someone who can strengthen VIGO’s digital presence, expand brand reach, and build partnerships with travel platforms, aggregators, hotels, and tourism stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:Website & Booking Engine Management
- Manage and regularly update the e-commerce website, including vehicle listings, pricing, offers, and rental packages.
- Ensure website uptime, fast load speeds, and smooth user experience across devices.
- Coordinate with developers to resolve bugs, roll out new features, and implement UX improvements.
- Ensure real-time vehicle availability by integrating inventory data with fleet management systems.
- Align with operations and maintenance teams to reflect vehicle readiness accurately on the platform.
- Assist with escalated booking, payment, or cancellation issues via email, phone, or chat.
- Coordinate with the customer service team to ensure timely and empathetic responses to customer queries.
- Monitor payment gateway performance and troubleshoot any integration issues.
- Track online payments, refunds, and failed transactions, and compile reports for finance and operations teams.
- Upload promotions, banners, discount codes, and special offers as part of marketing campaigns.
- Work closely with the marketing team to align online campaigns with customer journeys and seasonal demand.
- Use tools such as Google Analytics to monitor user behavior, traffic patterns, and booking funnel efficiency.
- Generate insights and KPIs to drive optimizations, reduce drop-offs, and increase conversion rates.
- Collaborate with sales, operations, fleet, and marketing teams to ensure the website reflects real-time business priorities.
- Train internal teams on basic admin panel usage and CMS functionalities.
- Establish and manage relationships with third-party websites — including travel portals, hotel groups, tourism platforms, and car rental aggregators (local and international).
- Ensure accurate brand representation and up-to-date listings on all partner sites.
- Track lead/referral performance and maximize visibility through strategic partnerships and listings.
- Develop and implement social media strategies across platforms.
- Plan monthly content calendars and coordinate content production with agencies.
- Monitor campaign performance and optimize content for engagement and conversions.
- 5–6 years of relevant experience managing e-commerce websites and booking systems.
- Strong understanding of social media, website UX/UI, content management systems, and integration with payment and booking APIs.
- Experience in working with third-party aggregators, tourism platforms, and online travel agencies is highly preferred.
- Proficient in tools like Google Analytics, Excel, CMS platforms, and troubleshooting payment gateways.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
