Informatica Technical Consultant
Overall Accountability:
Accountable for successful implementation, stability, and performance of the Informatica platform supporting T24 XML ingestion into Oracle ODS, batch modernization transformation, data profiling and certification, integration with Kafka where applicable, and compliance with banking data governance standards.

- Install and configure Informatica Power Center, IDQ, and IICS across environments
- Design and develop XML‑based ETL mappings
- Implement full and incremental load strategies
- Build reconciliation and control frameworks (counts, hash totals, variance reports)
- Perform data profiling and implement data quality rules
- Optimize ETL performance and manage partitioning
- Ensure proper logging, monitoring, and audit mechanisms
- Support UAT, cutover, and production stabilization
- Collaborate with DBA, Infra, Kafka, and Architecture teams
- Informatica Power Center, IICS, and IDQ
- XML parsing and complex hierarchical transformations
- Oracle DB PL/SQL performance tuning
- Batch processing and reconciliation frameworks
- Unix/Linux scripting
- Kafka integration (consumer source level understanding)
Individual, Entity, and Project Managers;
Project Progress Review; facilitate planning; manage risks with IT, DB, and Infra teams; build support and resolve issues; ETL design and development; business source system SMEs and business stewards.
Act as the primary engagement interface with customer stakeholders in Oman; support leadership interactions; steer governance forums and service reviews; translate customer expectations into actionable inputs for delivery teams; provide oversight across application development, testing, operations, and managed services; support incident management, escalations, and service improvement discussions; ensure adherence to IT processes, SLAs, and managed services best practices.
ResponsibilitiesLead delivery governance, support estimation, planning, risks, and dependencies; manage Agile delivery; handle vendor management; provide leadership and mentoring to team members; demonstrate strong project management skills; maintain effective customer communication to improve engagement and satisfaction; align expectations with delivery outcomes; provide positive feedback to customer leadership and internal delivery teams.
Qualifications- 6–10 years of experience in data integration
- Minimum 5 years of hands‑on Informatica experience
- Strong understanding of core banking data (T24 exposure preferred)
- Familiarity with regulatory‑driven data controls
- Experience in banking domain including Conventional (Retail & Corporate) and Islamic products
- Knowledge of good practices of IT systems
- Strong project management skills and use of project management tools
- Strong communication, analytical, planning, and management skills
- Solid knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle; ability to keep abreast with latest technologies
