We are hiring a Senior Project Manager, on site in Muscat, to drive complex platform delivery from kickoff to go live.
What you’ll do:
Own delivery: plan it, drive it, clear the blockers, and land it on time.
- Own end to end delivery of complex software and platform projects, on scope, schedule, and budget
- Build and maintain realistic plans, milestones, and critical paths, and track them honestly
- Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and change, and escalate early when delivery is threatened
- Run delivery in an agile or hybrid model, and keep engineering, design, and product aligned
- Manage stakeholders across government entities and vendors, with clear, regular communication
- Own project governance, reporting, and steering committees, with status leaders can trust
- Manage budgets, resources, and vendor deliverables against the plan
- Run go live readiness, handover to operations, and lessons learned
- You have delivered complex software or platform projects end to end, on time and on budget
- You plan rigorously and track honestly, and you surface bad news early, not late
- You are fluent in agile and traditional delivery, and you pick the right approach per project
- You manage demanding stakeholders and vendors, and keep everyone pointed at the same goal
- You read risk and dependency early, and you act before it becomes a crisis
- You hold a Bachelor's or higher in a relevant field; PMP, PRINCE2, or agile certifications are a plus
- You communicate with clarity, from a one line status to a full steering deck
- Bonus points for government, regulated, or large platform delivery
- Fluent English required;
Arabic is a valuable advantage
