Networks Engineer

Responsibilities

• To maintain appropriate control of SCT s Corporate IT amp Network to ensure smooth operations and achieve the desired business objectives Assist in our daily network operations monitoring security alerts and troubleshooting technical issues Work closely with senior engineers to ensure our digital environment remains fast stable and highly secure strong Functional Accountabilities strong Assist in provisioning configuring and testing routers switches and wireless access points Monitor network performance bandwidth utilization and uptime using standard monitoring tools Help maintain up-to-date documentation of network topology hardware inventory and IP addresses Monitor security logs alerts and system events to detect potential security threats or unauthorized access Assist in the deployment of security patches antivirus updates and firewall rules Help enforce company-wide data privacy policies and access control measures Provide tier-1 technical support for network connectivity VPN access and security-related issues Diagnose and resolve basic hardware software and cabling problems Escalate complex network or security incidents to senior engineers according to company protocols strong
• Generic Accountabilities strong Act as a team member by supporting other departments on their work issues within the agreed framework Ensure coordination with other group members Establish and maintain effective work relationship between company consultants and its subcontractors
  
  Mentoring Coaching junior staff or trainees Supporting the Management in other areas of development as and when requested Understand and follow the routes of communication as per the organization chart Actively supporting the development and realization of a positive value-centered culture focused on excellence Adhere to the existing policies systems amp processes and strive for continuous improvement in alignment with agreed framework
  
  Works in line with HSE policy and ensure awareness and compliance of HSE rules and regulations
• Minimum Qualifications
• Academic
  
  Qualification:
  
  Bachelor s degree in Networking, Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Cyber Security, or a related field.

  Fresh Graduate
• Professional
  
  Certifications:
  
  Preferably in Network Security and Network Routing/Protocols also its plus with: CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) CompTIA Network+ or Security+
