The Data Governance & Reporting Specialist is responsible for ensuring high-quality, governed, and actionable data across the organization. This role combines data governance, data quality, and reporting capabilities to support regulatory, operational, and strategic decision-making.
Data Governance & Compliance Support implementation of data governance framework, policies and standards Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (PDPL, DOH, CBUAE) Maintain governance documentation and data standards Act as liaison between Data, IT and business stakeholders
Data Quality Management Develop and monitor data quality rules and controls Track data issues and remediation actions Ensure data accuracy for reporting and analytics
Reporting & Analytics Develop dashboards and reports using Power BI Provide insights across claims, underwriting and operations Enable self-service reporting capabilities
Data Products & Insights Build governed datasets such as Customer 360 and claims dashboards Support fraud detection and operational monitoring use cases
Data Integration & Architecture Document data lineage and transformations Validate ETL processes and data reconciliations
Stakeholder Collaboration Work with business teams to define KPIs and data requirements Drive data-driven decision making
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics or related field. 5+ years experience in data governance, data quality or reporting roles. Experience in insurance or financial services preferred.
Technical Skills- SQL, Power BI
- Python/R (preferred)
- Data governance and data quality tools (Collibra, Talend, etc.)
- Understanding of data governance frameworks (DAMA, DCAM)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
