Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Odoo ERP Implementation Specialist to lead the implementation, configuration, customization, and successful rollout of Odoo ERP across our company in Oman.

The candidate will be responsible for understanding existing business processes, configuring appropriate Odoo modules, coordinating with different departments, training users, and ensuring a smooth transition from existing systems to Odoo.

Candidates must have hands-on experience in successfully implementing Odoo ERP from requirement analysis through go-live. Candidates with only Odoo user/support experience will not be considered.”

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end implementation of Odoo ERP across the organization.
• Study existing business processes and recommend improvements and automation.
• Configure and implement relevant Odoo modules such as:
• Accounting & Finance
• Sales & CRM
• Purchase
• Inventory & Warehouse
• Manufacturing (MRP)
• HR & Payroll
• Expenses
• Fleet
• Maintenance
• Point of Sale, where applicable
• Configure workflows, approvals, user access and system permissions.
• Coordinate with management and department heads to understand business requirements.
• Perform data migration, data cleaning and system setup.
• Coordinate with Odoo developers for required customizations and integrations.
• Conduct testing, troubleshooting and system validation before go-live.
• Prepare SOPs and user documentation.
• Conduct training for employees and department users.
• Provide post-implementation support and resolve system issues.
• Monitor system performance and continuously identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
• Ensure the Odoo system is properly integrated with the company's operational and financial requirements.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 3–5 years of practical experience in Odoo ERP implementation.
• Must have successfully implemented Odoo ERP in one or more organizations.
• Strong understanding of Odoo functional modules and business processes.
• Experience in manufacturing, trading, distribution or FMCG will be highly preferred.
• Good knowledge of Accounting, Inventory, Purchase, Sales and Manufacturing processes.
• Experience in data migration, user training and ERP deployment.
• Knowledge of Odoo customization, Python and PostgreSQL will be an added advantage.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with multiple departments.
