Role:Role Summary
The Forge Rock IDM Solution Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and governing enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions using the Forge Rock Identity Platform, with a primary focus on Forge Rock Identity Management (IDM). The architect will lead identity lifecycle management initiatives, provide strategic IAM guidance, and ensure secure integration across enterprise applications, cloud platforms, and directories.
Key Responsibilities- Design scalable and secure Identity Lifecycle Management solutions using Forge Rock IDM.
- Develop end-to-end IAM architecture covering provisioning, reconciliation, role management, and access governance.
- Create architecture documents, solution blueprints, deployment models, and integration strategies.
- Define identity data models, relationship mappings, synchronization policies, and approval workflows.
- Ensure alignment with enterprise security standards, compliance requirements, and IAM best practices.
- Design and implement Joiner-Mover-Leaver (JML) processes.
- Configure automated provisioning and de-provisioning workflows.
- Implement role-based access control (RBAC) and attribute-based access control (ABAC).
- Design identity reconciliation, attestation, and certification processes.
- Enable self-service identity management and delegated administration capabilities.
- Lead Forge Rock IDM implementation and migration projects.
- Integrate Forge Rock IDM with:
- Active Directory
- LDAP Directories
- HR Systems (Workday, SAP Success Factors, Oracle HCM)
- Databases and custom applications
- SaaS platforms
- Configure connectors, synchronization policies, mappings, workflows, and managed objects.
- Design solutions that support:
- Regulatory compliance requirements
- Audit controls
- Segregation of Duties (SoD)
- Access Governance
- Least Privilege principles
- Participate in security assessments and architecture reviews.
- Ensure secure implementation of authentication, authorization, and identity governance controls.
- Support production deployments and platform upgrades.
- Perform performance tuning and system optimization.
- Investigate and resolve complex IAM-related issues.
- Develop monitoring, logging, backup, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Ensure high availability and scalability of the Forge Rock environment.
