Job SummaryThe Oracle DBA is responsible for managing Oracle databases, ensuring high availability, security, backup, disaster recovery, and performance optimization.
Key Responsibilities- Administer Oracle databases and ensure 24x7 availability.
- Configure RAC, Data Guard, Golden Gate, and clustering.
- Manage backup, recovery, upgrades, and migrations.
- Monitor database performance and security.
- Perform tuning, capacity planning, and troubleshooting.
- Maintain database documentation and disaster recovery procedures.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Oracle certifications preferred.
- Minimum 12 years of Oracle DBA experience.
- Expertise in Oracle RAC, Data Guard, RMAN, ASM, SQL/PLSQL, database tuning, cloud platforms, scripting, backup & recovery, and database security.
