Cyber Security Consultant

The Cyber Security Sales Consultant will be responsible to lead the Technical sales of GBM's Cyber security solutions in Oman. This role is critical in helping produce an end-to-end and integrated security architecture for enterprise customers

• Establish and maintain good working relationships with customer’s CISO and Information Security Teams.
• Work with GBM account managers to develop, maintain and grow Cyber Security pipeline.
• Provide sales reporting, pipeline reviews, and sales forecasts to management team.
• Responsible for the definition of a high-level target network security architecture which offers the best solution for risk mitigation, performance, economics, and customer experience.
• Technical architectural governance of the security architecture from end devices (servers, hosts, user equipment etc.) extending to all the transport network touch points.
• Responding to customer RFls and RFQs.
• Lead the development of SOC (Security Operations Center) Sales and services.
• Responsible for new Cyber Security technology initiatives such as awareness sessions, technology evaluation, selection & competitive analysis.
• Maintain standards and competitor awareness to identify and support proposals that meet customer objectives and business requirements
• Take part in the definition of the Strategy for cyber security practice. This includes justification through analysis, SWOT, proof of concept, business case, interactions with vendors and security practice leaders within GBM.
• Spearheading appropriate solution delivery teams to ensure the business benefit is realized for the proposed design and architecture.

• 3+ years of experience in selling Cyber Security solutions role
• 5+ years of experience in the Cyber security Architecture
• Architecture Professional (CISSP-ISSAP)
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
• SANS-related certifications such as GIAC Defensible Security Architecture (GDSA)
• CCIE Security, Fortinet NSE8 / Palo Alto PCNSE / Checkpoint CCSE
• Cloud Security Certifications (CCSK, CCSP, AWS Certified Security, AWS Certified
• Solutions Architect, MS Azure Security Engineer)
• Solid understanding of various security tools such as NGIPS, NGFW, WAF, Load balancers, Proxy, ATP, DNS Security, DDOS Solutions, SSL VA, Tapping Solutions, DLP , EDR, SIEM, SOAR, NTA,
• Thorough understanding of relevant industry security standards and protocols including ISO
  27001 and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST);
  Control Objectives for Information and Related Technologies (COBIT)

• Collaborate with HSE teams to implement safety controls, manage hazardous materials, and mitigate impacts.
• Promote a culture of safety within engineering teams, ensuring that all projects prioritize the well-being of employees and the environment.
• Reports on progress/issues to HSE focal point
• Provide administrative support to the Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) department. Maintain and organize HSE documentation, including records of incidents, audits, and training sessions.
• Support HSE focal point for all types of emergencies
