Senior Business Analyst

We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support the delivery of technology projects within the banking sector. The successful candidate will act as a key liaison between Business, IT, Architecture and Project Management teams, translating business needs into clear and effective technology requirements.

• Gather, analyze and document business requirements and prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) for technology projects.
• Translate business requirements into clear and actionable technology requirements.
• Act as the liaison between business stakeholders, technical analysts, developers and architecture teams.
• Conduct market research to identify appropriate technology solutions and opportunities to leverage existing solutions.
• Support solution design and requirements gathering throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify gaps during different project phases and work with stakeholders to determine appropriate solutions.
• Support project testing and provide guidance where there are conflicts or changes in requirements.
• Maintain complete and accurate Business Analysis documentation.
• Monitor emerging market and technology trends.
• Track project and departmental activities and provide progress reporting against agreed plans.
• Support and review the work of the wider team while collaborating with Business, IT and PMO stakeholders.

• 10+ years of experience in Business Analysis, ideally within the banking or financial services sector.
• Strong knowledge of banking systems, products and processes.
• Proven experience in requirements gathering, business analysis and solution design.
• Strong experience preparing BRDs and functional/business requirements documentation.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and logical-thinking capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong collaboration, people management and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work effectively across multiple business and technology stakeholders.
• CBAP certification is preferred.
