Job Description – Oracle Web Center Content Consultant
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Oracle Web Center Content (WCC) Consultant to support the design, configuration, integration, testing, deployment, and support of the Oracle Web Center Content solution for the Maliyah Project.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and support Oracle Web Center Content (WCC).
- Configure Oracle Capture for document scanning, indexing, batch processing, and document upload.
- Configure WCC metadata, content types, security groups, accounts, profiles, and document structures
. - Integrate WCC with Oracle EBS Managed Attachments
. - Support integration with EBS AP Invoices, Purchase Orders, and Receipts.
- Configure and support SSO integration between EBS, WCC, OUD/LDAP, and Web Logic.
- Configure user roles and security permissions for WCC and Capture.
- Configure and validate document metadata mapping between EBS, Capture, and WCC
. - Support document scanning, storage, retrieval, attachment, and deletion processes.
- Troubleshoot WCC, Capture, Web Logic, SSO, and integration issues.
- Support OAT, Pilot, PAT, and Production testing and defect resolution.
- Prepare test evidence, configuration documents, and technical documentation.
- Support deployment and migration of WCC configurations across environments.
- Provide knowledge transfer and handover to the Operations team.
- Coordinate with EBS, DBA, Infrastructure, Security, and OUD teams for integration and technical issues.
Required Skills
- Strong hands‑on experience in Oracle Web Center Content (WCC).
- Experience with Oracle Capture
. - Experience with Oracle EBS Managed Attachments
. - Experience integrating WCC with Oracle EBS
. - Good knowledge of Web Logic Server
. - Experience with LDAP/OUD and SSO
. - Good understanding of WCC metadata and security configuration.
- Experience in document scanning and content management solutions.
- Good troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience supporting testing and production implementation.
Experience
- 5+ years of experience in Oracle Web Center Content.
- Experience in at least one end‑to‑end WCC implementation project.
- Oracle EBS R12 integration experience is preferred.
- Experience in large‑scale government or financial projects is an advantage.
Preferred
- Oracle EBS AP, Purchasing, and Receiving knowledge.
- Linux and Oracle Database knowledge.
- Experience with Oracle OHS, OUD, and Web Gate.
- Experience in OAT, production deployment, and post‑go‑live support.
- Immediate onsite availability in Muscat, Oman.
