Enterprise Data Architecture & Data Platform

We are looking for a highly experienced Enterprise Data Architecture & Platform Lead for an enterprise-wide data transformation initiative with a leading Middle Eastern bank.

This is a hands-on senior SME role
, covering strategy, architecture, implementation, and adoption.

• Lead enterprise data architecture and target-state architecture
• Define data architecture principles, patterns, standards, and technical designs
• Lead enterprise and domain-level banking data modelling
• Drive data discovery, profiling, metadata, lineage, mapping, and data quality
• Define ETL/ELT, CDC, API, batch, streaming, and event-driven integration patterns
• Define enterprise data platform capabilities across ingestion, storage, processing, governance, security, and consumption
• Support reporting, analytics, self-service, advanced analytics, and AI requirements
• Provide technical direction to data architects, engineers, and analysts

Strong knowledge of:

• Master & Reference Data

• 12+ years in Enterprise Data Architecture, Data Engineering, Data Platforms, or related disciplines
• Minimum 5 years of direct Banking / Financial Services data experience
• Senior experience as an Enterprise Data Architect, Senior Data Architect, Data Platform Lead, Data Transformation Lead, or equivalent
• Enterprise data modernization/transformation experience from architecture through implementation
• Strong enterprise data modelling, data engineering, and modern data platform experience
• Experience working with senior business and technology stakeholders in regulated environments
