Oracle Apps DBA
Kal Soft is looking to hire an experienced Oracle Apps DBA who will be responsible for the administration, monitoring, maintenance, and support of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and Oracle database environments. The primary objective is to ensure high availability, optimal performance, security, backup and recovery, and seamless operation of enterprise applications and databases.
Responsibilities:- Administer and support Oracle EBS (R12.1.3 / R12.2.x) and Oracle RAC databases.
- Monitor database performance, storage, and system health.
- Perform database backup, recovery, and cloning activities using RMAN and Data Pump utilities.
- Apply Oracle database and EBS patches, upgrades, and security updates.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database, application, and workflow-related issues.
- Manage Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) and database monitoring tools.
- Implement and maintain database security policies and controls.
- Support functional users and development teams with technical issues and minor enhancements.
- Coordinate with Oracle Support (MOS/Metalink) for issue resolution and service requests.
- Prepare monthly reports, issue logs, and technical documentation.
- Conduct knowledge transfer and user training sessions as required.
- Ensure compliance with SLA requirements and provide support during critical incidents.
- Strong experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS R12.1.3 / R12.2.x).
- Hands-on experience with Oracle RAC 19c or higher.
- Expertise in Oracle Database Administration and Performance Tuning.
- Experience with RMAN Backup & Recovery and EXPDP/IMPDP.
- Knowledge of Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) Cloud Control.
- Familiarity with Oracle Advanced Security, Database Vault, and Audit Vault.
- Experience with Oracle Solaris, Linux, and Unix environments.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and support mission-critical systems.
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Oracle Certified DBA certification preferred.
- Minimum 6+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle EBS and Oracle RAC environments.
- Experience in enterprise application support, database administration, and system maintenance.
