Sr. Manager Procurement & Contracts

Overview

Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Procurement and Contracts department at Atyab Group, operating under the mandate of the VP Supply Chain and aligned with the Group's strategic and operating plans.

• Leadership
  • Lead and direct the Procurement & Contracts department and its teams.
  • Set strategy, standards, and governance in line with company policies.
  • Drive continuous improvement of procurement processes to reduce cycle times and add value.
• Sourcing & Tendering
  • Govern vendor selection, evaluation, and award processes.
  • Lead the end‑to‑end tendering process (RFI, RFP, RFQ) ensuring fair, transparent, and competitive sourcing.
  • Own and drive category‑based sourcing strategy and planning to optimize spend.
• Contract Management & Supply Continuity
  • Direct technical and general contracting agenda, contract structuring, negotiation, administration, and renewals.
  • Ensure contracts safeguard commercial interests and comply with the legal framework.
  • Direct parts and equipment procurement for reliable, cost‑effective supply continuity.
• Supplier Management & Analytics
  • Use data analytics for demand planning, forecasting, spend analysis, and supplier performance reporting.
  • Lead Local Supplier Development and In‑Country Value (ICV) strategy and governance.
  • Manage supplier performance, enforce compliance, and deliver a positive supplier experience.
• People & Stakeholder Management
  • Set objectives, allocate work, and hold the team accountable for delivery.
  • Coach, develop, and performance‑manage the team, building capability and succession.
  • Partner with peers and senior leaders across the business to achieve procurement objectives and metrics.
• Reporting & General Duties
  • Present procurement and contract performance, savings, risks, and exposures to the VP Supply Chain.
  • Recommend and drive mitigating actions.
  • Undertake additional duties, projects, or responsibilities as assigned by the VP Supply Chain or management.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Supply Chain, or Procurement.
• Master's degree and/or professional certification (e.g., CIPS) preferred.
• 10+ years of procurement and contract management experience, including 4+ years leading a procurement/contracts team.
• Experience across complex procurement and contracting processes in diverse industries/sectors such as manufacturing and food industry.
• Experience in global markets with national and international providers.
• Strong experience with procurement & contract management systems and category management.
• Proven experience in supplier development, ICV, and contract negotiation.
• Knowledge of contract management, technical leadership, supply chain principles, material & logistics policies, and demand planning.
• Experience in procurement systems implementation and operation, spend analytics, and ICV/local content frameworks.
