Location: Muscat, Sultanate of Oman

Experience: 5+ Years
We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Procurement Manager to join a well-established industrial organization in Muscat, Oman.
The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in strategic sourcing, procurement operations, supplier management, contract negotiations, technical purchasing, and cost optimization
, preferably within the industrial manufacturing or chemical sector.
- Manage end-to-end procurement activities, including sourcing, RFQs, quotation evaluation, purchase orders, and delivery coordination.
- Develop procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective and timely availability of materials, equipment, spare parts, and services.
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with local and international suppliers.
- Lead supplier contract negotiations, commercial evaluations, and vendor performance management.
- Drive procurement cost savings, budget control, and purchasing efficiency.
- Oversee technical procurement of industrial equipment, machinery spare parts, chemicals, and maintenance materials.
- Coordinate international procurement, import documentation, logistics, and inventory planning.
- Ensure procurement compliance, maintain accurate records, and monitor procurement KPIs.
- Collaborate with Maintenance, Production, Stores, Finance, and other departments.
- Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant procurement or supply chain experience.
- Previous supervisory or managerial experience preferred.
- Experience in chemical manufacturing, industrial plants, petrochemicals, or continuous-process industries is highly desirable.
- Strong experience in technical procurement, strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and contract management.
- Knowledge of international purchasing, import procedures, Incoterms, and inventory management.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, with SAP Business One or other ERP experience preferred.
- Excellent negotiation, commercial, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred: Omani candidates with proven procurement experience in industrial manufacturing or chemical plants, particularly those experienced in sourcing technical equipment, spare parts, and industrial materials.
