Lead/Head of Financial planning and Analysis

Join Oman Tower Company and play a key role in financial planning,budgeting, forecasting, performance analysis and strategic decision-making to support the Company's growth and objectives.

To manage and maintain the Finance section on behalf of OTC and ensurethe integrity of all finance and accounting transactions and reporting systems, with the aim of safeguarding the financial interests of the organisation.

• Interfaces: Board, Management, HODs, Employees, Stakeholders

• Ensure the development and implementation of Finance Strategy and Budget in line with corporate objectives.
• Lead the development and implementation of an effective Finance function for OTC whilst ensuring legal compliance and alignment to international and regional best practices.

• Work closely with the Line Manager to develop and implement financial policies, processes and procedures, including control mechanisms.
• Develop, maintain and control costing standards and financial regulations.
• Identify and recommend opportunities for creating efficiencies in financial control processes and systems.
• Lead and organise external statutory audits with the Internal Audit department.
• Carry out financial transactions including accounts receivable and payable, cash flow management, banking arrangements andvariance analysis.
• Manage and ensure accurate, effective and timely payroll payments.
• Develop assurance practices and procedures.
• Manage the overall revenue assurance process, monitoring revenue sand ensuring that funds are allocated appropriately to the areasof the business.
• Identify any concerns in the control process in order to detectfraud, act upon them and initiate preventive measures.
• Monitor the financial management of the company.
• Produce financial statements and reports aligned with regional and international standards.
• Manage project and cost accounting, including indirect and directcost allocation to all verticals.
• Manage fixed asset accounting.
• Produce costing and variance reports.

• Responsible and be in alignment with the safety rules and procedures as per Company's QHSE Policy.
• Ensure all relevant quality, health, security, safety and environmental policies, procedures and controls are adhered toso that employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery ofhigh-quality service and a responsible environmental attitudecan be guaranteed.
• Ensure that incidents and hazards are reported in a timely manner and reduce consumption of natural resources to assist in protecting the environment and ensuring a healthy and safe work environment.
• Accountable for meeting the overall safety, quality, production and financial performance objectives of operation, including being accountable for plant-wide compliance and implementingbest practices related to the function.

• Lead, coach and manage the performance of OTC management inline with good people management practices.

• Define reporting requirements for the team, including content,periodicity and structure.
• Effective coordination across functions to achieve targets.
• Help in developing leadership by coaching and mentoring the team.

• Perform all other tasks and activities as suggested by theLine Manager.

• Bachelor or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting,or another relevant finance/accounting field.
• Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA or CIMAis preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience with a BSc holder or 4 yearswith a Master's holder, and a minimum of 3 years' relevant experience in leading multiple teams.
• Experience in infrastructure projects or telecommunicationsis preferred.

• Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) is preferred.

• Proficiency in written and spoken English is mandatory;
  
  Arabic is preferred.
