About the Role
Ensure timely availability, staging, and field distribution of materials.
Key Responsibilities- Provide first point of call for all material related issues.
- Interface with Company materials and warehouse teams.
- Coordinate tagging, kitting, staging, and material readiness for work fronts.
- Coordinate material internal transportation, storage and preservation.
- Track critical materials and shortages.
- Support expediting of missing or damaged materials.
- Maintain material status reporting for execution teams.
- Ensure surplus materials are well preserved and timely reconciled with Company stores and obtain relevant Company authorities sign-off on reconciliation sheets.
- Tracks outstanding materials POs (both Company and Contractors sourced) using Company SAP system or any other relevant Company or Contractor system.
- Provide technical support in terms of material availability alternatives.
- Degree in a relevant engineering discipline (B.Sc./M.Sc./B.Eng.) (preferably in Mechanical) and membership of internationally accepted applicable professional Institute.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in oil & gas projects and Turnarounds / Shutdowns in end-to-end material management.
- Experience with SAP or similar systems
- Experience in material management.
