Media Relations Coordinator
NTU International is preparing a proposal for the project Communication outreach and engagement on EU policies in North Africa, the Middle East and the Gulf .
In this context,
NTU International is establishing a pool of qualified Non-Key Experts (Senior and Junior) to be mobilised on a short-term, on-demand basis during project implementation (36 months).
The overall objective of this assignment is to provide strategic, technical and logistical communication support to DG MENA in the planning, development and implementation of its day-to-day communication activities, with the aim of strengthening the visibility, outreach and impact of the European Union's policies, initiatives and partnerships across the Middle East, North Africa and the Gulf region.
Junior Non-Key Expert - Media Relations Coordinator Responsibilities- Supporting the planning and coordination of press activities, including press trips, media briefings and press conferences.
- Liaising with journalists, media outlets and communication partners.
- Assisting in the preparation and distribution of press releases, media advisories and press packs.
- Maintaining and updating media contact databases and distribution lists.
- Coordinating media logistics and accreditation for events.
- Monitoring media coverage and supporting the preparation of press reviews and media reports.
- Assisting communication teams in implementing media outreach activities.
- Providing administrative and logistical support for media relations initiatives.
- Degree (or equivalent) in journalism/communication/media studies;
- French and/or Arabic an asset.
- 2 years' general experience in media/press relations;
- 1 year specific experience coordinating press activities (press trips, press packs, journalist liaison).
