We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Staff Nurse to provide occupational health services, emergency medical care, and employee wellness support. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring workplace health and safety, maintaining medical records, responding to medical emergencies, and promoting employee well-being in compliance with occupational health standards.
Key Responsibilities- Provide first aid and emergency medical care to employees.
- Assess and manage workplace injuries and coordinate referrals for further medical treatment when required.
- Maintain accurate employee health records and confidential medical files.
- Support and coordinate employee health and wellness initiatives, including vaccinations and health screening programs.
- Monitor workplace health risks and report occupational health hazards.
- Conduct health awareness programs, first aid training, and safety education sessions.
- Ensure compliance with occupational health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain medical equipment, emergency supplies, and first aid kits.
- Assist during workplace health and safety inspections, audits, and compliance reviews.
- Collaborate with management and safety teams to promote a safe and healthy work environment.
- Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Nursing (GNM/B.Sc. Nursing).
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid Nursing Council Registration.
- Minimum experience requirements:
- B.Sc. Nursing: 3+ years of clinical experience.
- GNM: 4+ years of clinical experience.
- Experience in occupational health, industrial nursing, or corporate healthcare is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of occupational health and workplace safety regulations.
- Strong first aid and emergency response capabilities.
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong documentation and medical record management skills.
- Ability to work independently and respond effectively during emergencies.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to patient confidentiality.
- Experience in employee wellness programs and health promotion activities.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification.
- Trauma Care Certification (ITLS, PHTLS, or equivalent).
- Pearson Vue or Prometric Examination (as applicable for Oman licensing process).
- Dataflow Verification Report or Payment Receipt.
