Responsibilities
- Promote a Quality culture on the project, ensuring implementation of Civil best practices and continuous improvement of quality standards and systems
- Lead the civil Inspection team.
- Review and provide inputs (e.g., Comments, Checklists, etc.) for all Civil QC related Procedures.
- Ensure the effective implementation of Project QCPs/ITPs related to Civil Discipline.
- Perform daily Inspection tasks in line with Site Quality Requirements and Quality Control Plans.
- Lead or participate in investigations to resolve Civil quality issues, conducting root cause analysis, recommending corrective actions, and ensuring that they are effectively executed.
- Issue and expedite identified NCRs related to Civil activities.
- Report progress and feedback activity to Site QC manager.
- Perform Surveillance of Civil Works.
- Participate in weekly mass TBT and Quality walkdowns.
- Ensure the Civil inspection Team have performed all necessary trainings (HSE & Quality) prior to site work starting.
- Ensure Civil Feedback & Lesson Learned are cascaded to all Inspectors within project and their Subcontractors.
- Minimum 8 years of experience (Tarmac road construction experience is mandatory).
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree holder in Civil Engineering.
