Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Technical Coordinator – Vendor Inspection to coordinate vendor inspection activities, inspection schedules, documentation, and technical requirements for Oil & Gas / Engineering projects. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in vendor inspection coordination, quality control, welding inspection, inspection documentation, and coordination with clients, vendors, inspectors, and project teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and monitor vendor inspection activities as per approved Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), specifications, and project requirements.
  • Coordinate with vendors, third-party inspectors, clients, and project teams for inspection schedules and requirements.
  • Review inspection notifications, inspection requests, reports, and supporting technical documentation.
  • Monitor inspection progress and ensure inspections are completed within project schedules.
  • Coordinate welding, fabrication, material, dimensional, NDT, and testing inspections.
  • Review inspection reports, certificates, test reports, and quality documentation for completeness and compliance.
  • Track inspection status, pending actions, NCRs, and corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, client specifications, and project quality requirements.
  • Coordinate with inspectors holding relevant certifications, including CSWIP 3.1.
  • Prepare and maintain inspection trackers, vendor inspection records, and quality documentation.
  • Liaise with procurement, engineering, QA/QC, vendors, and clients to resolve inspection-related issues.
  • Support project teams in ensuring timely completion of vendor documentation and inspection activities.
Required

Skills & Qualifications
  • Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
  • CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector certification is mandatory/preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in vendor inspection / QA-QC / Oil & Gas projects.
  • Strong knowledge of welding inspection, fabrication, NDT, material inspection, and quality documentation.
  • Experience working with ITPs, inspection procedures, MDRs, NCRs, and vendor quality documentation.
  • Good understanding of international codes and standards such as ASME, AWS, API, and relevant ISO standards.
  • Strong coordination, communication, documentation, and follow-up skills.
  • Gulf / Middle East project experience will be an advantage.
  • Candidates available for immediate deployment will be preferred.
