To perform evaluate and report Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing PAUT on welded joints and critical components during offshore construction and installation activities ensuring compliance with project specifications applicable codes and client requirements while strictly adhering to offshore HSE standards
Key ResponsibilitiesPressure vessels and pipelines as applicable Ensure inspections are carried out in accordance with Approved PAUT procedures
Inspection amp Test Plans ITPs Offshore work packs
Encoders and scanners manual semi automated Conduct calibration using Approved reference blocks
Project specific calibration standards
Ensure all NDT equipment has valid calibration certificates
Interpret A Scan B Scan C Scan and S Scan data Detect evaluate and size discontinuities such as Lack of fusion
Lack of penetration
Cracks
Porosity and inclusions
Scan plans and data files
Repair and re inspection reports
Ensure full traceability of welds and inspection records
Support mechanical completion pre commissioning and dossier handover
