Welding Inspector CBT Passed

The Welding Inspector CBT Passed role is a full-time, on-site position based in Lusaka. The individual in this role will perform daily welding inspections to ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and project specifications. Responsibilities include monitoring welding activities, verifying weld quality, reviewing welding procedures and documentation, and conducting visual and dimensional checks. The role also involves coordinating with production teams, reporting non-conformities, recommending corrective actions, and maintaining accurate inspection records to support quality and safety objectives.

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Welding Inspection and Inspection, with proven experience in evaluating welds against industry standards.
• Candidates should possess practical skills in Welding, including understanding welding processes, materials, and applicable safety practices.
• Candidates should possess skills in Quality Control and Quality Assurance, with the ability to implement and follow quality procedures and documentation.
• Valid CBT (Computer Based Test) qualification or certification relevant to welding inspection.
• Knowledge of international welding codes and standards (e.g., AWS, ASME, ISO) is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to identify and document non-conformities.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams on-site.
• Previous experience in industrial, construction, or fabrication environments is an advantage.
