Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer service-driven Cashier to join our busy retail store in Muscat, Oman. This part-time position offers a salary of 1,600$ per month. The Cashier will process customer transactions accurately and efficiently while providing friendly and helpful service.
Responsibilities- Greet customers and assist them with their purchases.
- Scan and process items accurately using a cash register.
- Accept payments in the form of cash, credit/debit cards, or other approved methods.
- Issue receipts, refunds, or exchanges as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
- Answer customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and courteously.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations of the store.
- Previous cashier or retail experience preferred but not required.
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Basic computer knowledge for operating the cash register system.
- Must have a valid work visa for Oman or be eligible for visa sponsorship.
- Flexibility in scheduling is required due to extended store hours.
- English language skills are not required for this position.
