Cashier for Busy Retail Store

Our busy retail store in Muscat Oman is seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Cashier to join our team As a Cashier you will be responsible for handling cash transactions processing payments and providing excellent customer service

• Greet customers and assist them with their purchases
• Scan and bag items accurately and efficiently
• Process payments using cash registers or POS systems
• Ensure accurate pricing of all products
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner
• Monitor inventory levels and request restocking as needed
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure excellent customer service at all times

• High school diploma or equivalent additional training will be a plus
• Proven work experience as a cashier or in a similar role preferred
• Excellent communication skills and ability to provide friendly customer service
• Basic math skills to handle cash transactions accurately
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 20 pounds if required
• If you are an Indian or African national with fluent English skills and meet the qualifications listed above

1200$ per month negotiable based on experience
