Junior Merchandiser

We are a leading retail company in Muscat and we are seeking a Junior Merchandiser to join our team. As a Junior Merchandiser, you will be responsible for assisting the merchandising team in executing product strategies, ensuring timely delivery of products, and maintaining inventory levels.

• Work closely with the merchandising team to plan and develop product ranges based on market trends and customer demand
• Conduct market research to identify new trends and competitors' products
• Assist in creating purchase orders and monitoring stock levels
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products
• Help in maintaining accurate records of inventory levels and sales performance
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional strategies for products
• Assist in visual merchandising by setting up displays and arranging products in an attractive manner

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
• Previous experience as a Merchandiser or similar role is preferred but not required
• Knowledge of retail industry trends and market analysis techniques
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines

This is a contract job with a salary of 1200$ per month.

This position is based in Muscat, Oman.
