HAQQ is looking for a hands-on Business Lead to build and grow our presence in Oman — working on the ground with clients, managing our key customer accounts, and driving sales of our Legal AI and practice-management solutions to law firms, corporates, and government entities. Fluent Arabic is required;
Omani nationals are strongly preferred.
The Business Lead – Oman is a hands-on, field-based role — not a desk job. You will be on the ground every day: visiting clients in person, running on-site demos and trainings, and doing the practical legwork it takes to build a market. You will define and execute HAQQ's go-to-market plan in Oman, open doors with law firms, in-house legal departments, and public-sector institutions, and personally own and maintain our largest customer accounts in the Sultanate.
You will manage the Oman pipeline end to end — from prospecting through negotiation, onboarding, and account growth — and feed local market insight back into our product and Arabic-language capabilities.
- Be hands-on and present on the ground: conduct regular in-person client visits, site meetings, on-site demos, and user trainings across Oman.
- Personally own, manage, and grow HAQQ's key and enterprise customer accounts in Oman, acting as their primary point of contact and ensuring long-term satisfaction, renewal, and expansion.
- Build and execute HAQQ's market-entry and growth strategy for Oman, including target segments, pricing input, and revenue targets.
- Generate and manage a qualified pipeline across law firms, corporate legal departments, banks, and government / semi-government entities.
- Lead the full sales cycle: discovery, product demos (in Arabic and English), proposals, negotiation, and closing.
- Handle the practical, physical side of the business locally — delivering documents, attending government offices and procurement submissions, coordinating events, and supporting on-site rollouts.
- Develop strategic partnerships with local bar-related bodies, universities, consultancies, and resellers to accelerate adoption.
- Represent HAQQ at industry events, conferences, and client meetings across the Sultanate.
- Coordinate onboarding with Customer Success to drive retention and referenceable customers.
- Navigate local procurement, tendering, and compliance requirements, and support the setup of HAQQ's local commercial presence.
- Share market feedback with Product and Legal teams to improve Omani and Arabic-language legal coverage.
- Maintain accurate pipeline, account, and activity reporting in our CRM and report regularly to leadership.
- Native or full professional fluency in Arabic (spoken and written) — this is a must.
- Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
- 5+ years of experience in business development, B2B sales, or partnerships in Oman, ideally in legal services, legal tech, SaaS, or professional services.
- Proven experience managing and retaining large, high-value customer accounts.
- A hands-on, field-oriented attitude — willing and able to do physical, on-the-ground work, spend most of the week out meeting clients, and get things done personally.
- Strong existing network within Oman's legal, corporate, or public sectors.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets and closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals.
- Self-starter comfortable building a market from the ground up with limited local infrastructure.
- Based in Oman (Muscat preferred), with a valid driving license and the ability to travel frequently within the country and the GCC.
- Omani nationals are strongly preferred.
- Law degree or legal background, or experience selling to law firms and in-house legal teams.
- Familiarity with government procurement and tendering processes in Oman.
- Experience with SaaS or AI products and CRM tools.
