Job Summary
CDhorizon Oman is seeking a reliable and vigilant Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of company premises, employees, visitors, and assets. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, strong observational skills, and a commitment to maintaining a secure and orderly environment. In line with Omanization objectives, this position is open to Omani nationals only
.
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent unauthorized access, theft, or damage
- Control entry and exit points, verifying identification of employees, visitors, and contractors
- Maintain accurate security logs, incident reports, and daily activity records
- Respond promptly and professionally to security incidents, alarms, and emergencies
- Enforce company security policies, procedures, and safety regulations
- Conduct routine inspections of premises, equipment, and access points
- Coordinate with supervisors, emergency services, and local authorities when required
- Provide courteous assistance and clear directions to visitors and staff
- Report any suspicious activities or safety hazards immediately
- Omani nationality (mandatory)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in security, military, or law enforcement is an advantage
- Good physical fitness and ability to stand or patrol for extended periods
- Basic knowledge of safety, security, and emergency response procedures
- Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in Arabic; basic English is an advantage
- Clean background and good conduct record
- Strong observation and attention to detail
- Integrity, reliability, and professionalism
- Calm and composed under pressure
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
- Shift-based work, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
- Indoor and outdoor duties depending on assignment
