Director of Safety, Security & Protocol

About the Role

We are launching an exciting new luxury Nikki Beach Resort amp Spa in Yiti Bay Sultanate of Oman and we are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Director of Safety Security amp Protocol Omani National to join our pre-opening leadership team for a luxury resort in Muscat. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in the successful opening of the resort by leading all aspects of safety security fire amp life safety and VIP protocol.

The successful candidate will work closely with the project team to ensure all security systems operational procedures and regulatory requirements are in place before opening while building a strong culture of safety and service excellence.

• Lead the planning development and implementation of all safety security and protocol functions during the pre-opening and operational phases
• Ensure compliance with all local laws regulations and brand standards related to safety security fire amp life safety and emergency preparedness
• Work closely with project consultants and contractors to ensure security systems including CCTV access control alarm systems and emergency equipment are properly designed installed tested and commissioned
• Build strong relationships with government authorities including the Royal Oman Police Civil Defense and other relevant agencies to facilitate approvals inspections and licensing requirements
• Develop security policies emergency response plans risk assessments and standard operating procedures
• Lead recruitment training and development of the Safety amp Security team ensuring operational readiness before opening
• Oversee VIP security arrangements and protocol requirements in coordination with government authorities and hotel leadership
• Conduct regular audits drills investigations and compliance reviews to maintain a safe and secure environment for guests colleagues and visitors
• Work closely with all hotel departments to promote a proactive safety culture and support daily operations

• Omani National
• Minimum 8 10 years of experience in hotel safety and security, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role
• Previous luxury hotel experience is preferred
• Pre-opening hotel experience is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of safety management, fire amp life safety systems, hotel security operations, and local regulatory requirements
• Experience working with government authorities and managing licensing and compliance processes
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to build, coach, and motivate high-performing teams
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent command of English;
  Arabic language skills are highly desirable
