We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Pilates Instructor to join our studio. The ideal candidate should have a passion for helping clients improve their physical well-being through the practice of Pilates. As an Instructor, you will be responsible for designing and leading safe and effective Pilates classes, ensuring that participants are engaged and motivated throughout the sessions. The ability to provide personalized attention and guidance to clients of varying fitness levels is essential. If you have a strong background in Pilates, a knack for teaching, and a dedication to promoting overall health and fitness, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
• Design and lead mat Pilates classes that cater to participants of varying fitness levels and abilities.
• Instruct clients on proper techniques, form, and breathing patterns to ensure a safe and eective workout.
• Provide individualized attention and modifcations to meet the specifc needs and goals of each participant.
• Demonstrate exercises and assist clients in performing movements correctly.
• Create a positive and supportive environment during classes, encouraging clients to challenge themselves while maintaining proper technique and
alignment.
• Develop class plans that incorporate a variety of exercises to promote overall strength, flexibility, and balance.
• Educate clients about the benefits of Pilates and how it can contribute to their overall health and well-being.
• Stay updated on current trends and developments in the field to integrate new techniques and exercises into classes.
• Maintain a clean and organized studio space, ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained and functioning.
• Communicate with clients to understand their fitness goals and track their progress throughout their Pilates journey.
Requirements:
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching group or private classes.
• Certified Pilates Instructor with a reputable Pilates certification (e.g., Pilates Method Alliance (PMA), Balanced Body, Stott Pilates, Lagree, or equivalent).
• Is certified for a Megaformer or is open to training for it as the studio will transition to a Megaformer studio plus mat pilates and yoga studio.
• Proven experience leading group classes, with a strong understanding of various techniques and principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and provide constructive feedback.
Salary Package:
• Basic net salary | 750 OMR (2,000 USD)
