Educational Qualifications

A Bachelor or Master degree in Transport and Logistics Logistics and Supply Chain Management Transport Management Supply Chain Management Operations Management Maritime Port Management Aviation Management Transport Planning or a related field

Teaching Interest

Demonstrated interest in teaching mentoring tutoring or academic support

Practical Skills

Practical knowledge relevant to transport logistics supply chain operations maritime aviation or related disciplines

Communication Skills

Ability to explain transport and logistics concepts clearly and effectively to students

Teamwork

Ability to work collaboratively with faculty members students technical staff and industry partners

Adaptability

Willingness to learn and support different modules programmes and practical activities as required

Responsibilities
  • Support tutorials practical sessions workshops and seminars across Transport and Logistics-related modules
  • Assist students with transport management logistics operations supply chain management procurement inventory management warehousing distribution and transportation planning
  • Help students understand key concepts such as transport systems logistics networks supply chain design demand forecasting inventory control operations management and performance measurement
  • Assist in preparing practical exercises case studies datasets simulations presentations and other teaching resources
  • Support the use of relevant transport logistics analytical and simulation software during practical and teaching sessions
  • Support marking of assignments case studies reports quizzes projects and practical assessments under supervision
