Assistant Flight Dispatcher

Are you passionate about aviation operations and committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety and efficiency? Salam Air is looking for a Assistant Flight Dispatcher to join our Operations Control Centre (OCC) and support the safe and efficient execution of daily flight operations.

• Assist in the preparation, review, and amendment of Operational Flight Plans in compliance with regulatory, safety, and company requirements.
• Analyze weather reports, NOTAMs, ATC constraints, and aircraft performance data to support operational decision-making.
• Calculate RTOW and ZFW requirements as applicable.
• Maintain Operational Flight Watch, monitor flight progress, and support the implementation of revised flight plans when required.
• Provide operational briefings and updates to Flight Crew, including field conditions and operational information.
• Verify and archive flight documentation, ensure journey logs are completed, and maintain accurate records within the AIMS system.
• Support the Flight Dispatcher and Operations Control Centre during day-to-day operations and disruption management.

• High School Certificate with a valid Dispatch License.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective decision-making and time-management abilities.
• Ability to perform in a dynamic operational environment.
