Role Objective
The captain is responsible for the safe efficient and compliant operation of the aircraft This role provides leadership to the flight crew and ensures strict adherence to operational documentation SOPs and regulatory standards The captain is also accountable for contributing to the airline s On-Time Performance OTP targets and supporting the achievement of operational Key Performance Indicators KPIs
Area of responsibilityExercise full authority over the operation and safety of the flight Conduct comprehensive pre-flight planning including weather NOTAMs performance fuel and MEL CDL assessments Ensure full compliance with all operational documentation including the Operations Manual CSM SOPs checklists company policies and regulatory requirements Lead mentor and manage the flight crew to ensure strong CRM teamwork and a high-performance cockpit environment Operate the aircraft safely and efficiently across all flight phases including normal abnormal and emergency situations Make timely and effective decisions to maintain safe and efficient operations Coordinate with ATC dispatch ground personnel and cabin crew to support smooth operational flow Provide professional communication to passengers when required Perform all duties in a manner that supports On-Time Performance OTP and contributes to achieving company KPIs related to punctuality fuel efficiency safety reporting and operational discipline Complete all flight documentation logs reports and technical paperwork accurately and in a timely manner Maintain personal qualifications and training currency Uphold the airline s values safety culture and professional standards always Perform any other related tasks as assigned by the Management
Age Direct Entry:
Minimum 25 years and less than 57 years. Company Upgrade:
Minimum 25 years and minimum 5 years of service must be available prior to retirement from the date of commencement of training, except if fleet is phased out.

Valid ATPL with a valid type rating. Non-Rated:
Valid ATPL with valid rating on type. Foreign license must be acceptable to CAA Oman and verified by the state of issue. All documents and required rating must be valid for 6 months from the date of application. Must have completed training in Human Factors. Company Upgrade: ATPL with rating on the type.
Medical Current Class 1 Medical.
Experience Direct Entry:
Rated Foreign ATPL:
Minimum total time of 5000 hours for jet aircraft, including 1500 hours as PIC on multi-pilot certified aero planes, and 500 hours on type. Rated Oman ATPL:
Minimum total time of 5000 hours for jet aircraft, including 1000 hours as PIC on multi-pilot certified aero planes, and 500 hours on type. Non-Rated Foreign ATPL:
Minimum total time of 5000 hours, including 1500 hours as PIC on multi-pilot certified aero planes with an all-up weight of 20,000 kg or more. Non-Rated Oman ATPL:
Minimum total time of 5000 hours, including 1000 hours as PIC on multi-pilot certified aero planes with an all-up weight of 20,000 kg or more. Company Upgrade: 4000 total flying hours, including 1500 hours flying time on multi engine aero planes with a MTOW greater than 40,000 kg.
LICENSES REQUIRED Air Transport Pilot s License (ATPL). PIC (Pilot in Command) rating of the B787 /B737 aircraft as applicable.
